Welcome parents and caregivers of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities
The State of New Jersey and PerformCare work together to administer the publicly-funded developmental disability service delivery system for children and youth up to age 21. PerformCare has been helping families access public behavioral health services in partnership with the Department of Children and Families Division of Children’s System of Care for many years.
The expansion of this System of Care model to also serve children with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a significant step forward toward an integrated approach that allows for better coordinated care for all youth. Review the links below for more information about services and support available to eligible youth with developmental disabilities.
